Hi Everyone

I have set out a floor using basalt. I have also cut down some of the basalt into 145mm strips and chamfered to use as skirtings.
I have done all the mitre joints - (there are loads because room has lots of window alcoves)
All the joints are well fitted.

I anticipate that I will have problems keeping the joints tight when it comes to fixing skirtings to the wall.

I was considering using a flexible adhesive such as silicon or polymer mastic to pre-glue joints particularly on internals.

I was wondering if anybody has some wisdom on this

Thanks very much

Best Regards
Sky
