Storing Powder Addy in tubs

Do any of you store leftover powder adhesive in tubs. Done 2 sq of Trav this week and used Bal PTB. Nearly 3/4 of a bag left. Might be a long time before I get another job and don't want to waste any. I'm thinking of old used ready mixed tubs with the lids so its air right. Any thoughts? Will it keep?

i would sat it will be ok but the bag will have a best before date on it make sure you put it on the top of your tub.
