Storms anyone?

I read about the predicted storms this week, apparently the Met Office said there was "cause for concern" and potentially a months worth of rain expected to fall during a 48hr period. So far all I've seen are a few minutes of rain. Has anyone else had major storms?

Well here in wales the other night we had a big storm, the dog got frightened and laid next to my bed poor thing, nothing yet here though, still nice.....

I'm a bit north of you working at sandringham this week and forecast for last night and today was bad.
But we've had a beauty of a day and evening. Apparently it's coming tomorrow now.

just got in from a 2 hour walk with dog and gun, T shirt and shorts, a balmy evening here but due to be piddling down tomorrow, but we're used to it in Lakes,,

just rabbits Mark, my mate was "the gun" I was gillie and dog handler lol! we use a .22 rimfire rifle with silencer, only got the one rabbit tonight as all fields are getting ready for silage time so a lot of long grass that bunnies don't like so they sit tight to hedgerows and as you know Mark, you don't shoot into a hedge unless you know you've got a good backstop to ground the bullet :smilewinkgrin:

Maybe I should let the grass grow in my garden then if it keeps the bunnies away. They get everywhere, my other half has a vegetable patch that looks more like a prison compound! :lol:

tonights fruit , it was a good team effort, I spotted, my mate shot, and Ruby found and retrieved,,,,no show tomorrow though as weather is gonna be dreadful ( Doug skilfully steers thread back on track lol!)

We had torrential rain on Monday & Tuesday, Monday was the worst rain I've saw for a while, the clouds were forming into a twister just before the rain started, we got a fair but of flooding here.
