Substrate prep

[High Peak Tiling]

Bathroom floor, used to have carpet tiles. Black glue combed on.
I will have to score and scrape it all off.. Any recommendation on method of removal?

Bitumen type? Remove as much as poss, then slurry coat with SBR

I think BAL guidance used to be remove 80% as I recall.

Yes like bitumen but defonantly the old dpm paint.

Like with any paint,glue I always remove 85-95%

Heat gun might help you get it up, but mask up because it stinks!

Try a fein if you've got one. I grind a sharp edge on an old won blade then scrape away...
