Suitability of 300 x 600 x 4.5 mm porcelain tiles for flooring

Hi

Building an ensuite and have put 300 x 600 x 4.5 mm tiles in the shower cubicle. They look really good and am thinking of using then on the ensuite floor too. However my mate thinks their too thin for use on floors, despite the box saying they're made for walls and floors.

Anyone used this type of tile successfully for flooring?

They are not porcel-thin Mark as Porcel- thin smallest size is 600x900 x 4.8mm

I thought they were 1200x600x4.8mm

If they had been porcel-thin then you could have done this with them.

4.5ton forklift over the top of 4.5mm thick tiles.
You won't find many forklifts in an en-suite!!

To hold a hundred pounds back for taking a bit of rubbish to the tip I personally think you are bang out of order, glad it wasnt me that done the job for you
