Hi all,
Can someone confirm what 'plaster finishes' can and can't be tiled onto, and more importantly in the case of the latter why?
I know plasterboard, plaster skim and sand/cement are ok but my plasterer is saying that hes "tiled onto 'bonding plaster' with no problems" - I was always led to believe that this was a no no?
What other finishes are there that a plasterer would, or could, leave that are ok to tile?
Plasterer is saying 'bonding plaster' is the cheapest and quickest option from his point of view. He's also mentioned 'hard wall' but I'm not actually sure what this is?? This is an on going arguement that I'm trying to get a definative answer on!! Would appreciate comments...
Many thanks Chris
