Hi all.

I am new to the forum and newish to tiling. This is a brilliant forum. Just a little confused about surface preparation.

I know someone will have an answer to my question. I am tiling ceramic wall tiles (20cm x 25cm) in an en-suite but there are different types of surface: on one one wall: brick wall with sand and cement on the top half and one coat plaster on the bottom half.

Using BAL white star. I was going to use a BAL primer on the whole combined surface but I know BAL state that no primer is needed for certain surfaces. However, will the adhesive fail if I do prime it?

Many thanks in advance.
