Discuss Taking the sledge to work..... in the UK Tiling Forum area at TilersForums.com.

The snow has been falling constantly since the break of dawn and is currently about 200mm deep:prrr:

:yikes: Tried this morning to get tpo a job about a mile behind my house, but as I'm on the bottom of the V. steep hill and the job is at the top my poor old Master van wouldn't make it at all and I ended up having to dig it out of a ditch after trying an alternative route:mad2:

So came home to make a few phone calls and have decided to give it another go, but instead of driving the van, I'm going to put all my tools on the bairns sledge and pull them up:idea3:Might sound daft and I might be back in the house within 20minutes, but nothing ventured and all that.....

Wish me luck:lol:

Well I made it:hurray:

Couldn't do as much as I would have liked as needed my big floor square and cutting machine, but will take them on the company sledge in the morning:thumbsup:

A passer by who saw me this morning has just emailed me a photo she took - she's only gone and sent it to the local newspaper!!! Lord only knows what the headline will be:yikes: 'LUNATIC TILER SLEDGES TO WORK'
