Tanking for stone

Hi guys, can someone help me out here?

does anyone know of a tanking system that will carry 35kgs/m2 limestone on Hardie boards in a shower

Homelux matting may be suitable (can't find any references to weight capabilities) but I would fix Marmox, wedi or Schlüter in place of the Hardi personally

Crazy two-step process! You should have just boarded your walls with Kerdiboard or another waterproof board and taped the joints.

It's probably because boards like Kerdi board can hold upto 60kg, and are waterproof in themselves.
