I had this last year and almost had me filling out an online form, I was surprised that I didn't have to log in or the form was on a secure server so i went back and checked where the e-mail came from. The address appeared it came from a .gov webmail but if you open up the full details I knew it was a fake. There are a few websites that you can cut and paste the senders details and it will tell you were it originated.... i've not explained that very well... hang on

I guess we know what you are saying mate.....My point about scams is that although "we" think we wont get caught, these scams are still here for a reason....they must have some percentage of success !

oh yeah of course:thumbsup:, i'm just saying if you are wary of any email you can open its source code and view where it came from. It will show you the webserver and an originating IP address

Like the ones that come from tilersforums come via Dan's googl3r.com webmail and it also shows the ip address which you can track.
