im thinking of getting some sorted as I'm having to chase payment a lot lately but unsure where to start?. Who uses them and what are in them?.

There are a few examples in the forum somewhere.

Somebody printed them on the back of their estimates they'd provide to customers and get them to sign upon agreeing the price etc

In my quotes I simply state the total cost would be £xxxx and this is required to be paid upon time of completion. If a response is given by phone accepting my quote then I send a acknowledgement email thanking for accepting the quote and terms of payment. I don't know if you've seen me mention in a post, but I now have a card reader to take card payments, £49 from PayPal (PayPal here) and 2.7% charge of transactions, small amount to pay to get your money straight away in my opinion! Money goes into PayPal account instantly, thank you very much!
