The Derby - Epsom

[Time's Ran Out]

Went around Tattersall Corner this morning at 7.00am and the going was heavy!
I know this because I was in my van and the road drains were flooded.
Tomorrow is the Oaks and Saturday the Derby.
For those who have money to throw away what's your tips?
From tomorrow I'll be finding a new route to Epsom as the traffic will be heavy and I'll have to keep my van locked!

I was meant to be doing a job in Epsom tomorrow night but it's been cancelled due to the races. Got a mate doing it on Monday night now which is a result!

I'm in oxshott at the moment, staying in the job so not too bad but one of the guys is coming up tomorrow from Brighton so he should have fun. Ladies day tomorrow I think

No wonder I got lost ! It's Tattenham Corner. Tattersall is the lounge at Newcastle Gosforth Park racecourse.
Anyway missed the traffic with an early start.

Got a tip yesterday for a race - Frankie Dettorie - just as well I didn't bet , he came LAST!

Another sunny day on The Downs so large crowds are expected.
Went for a coffee in the town yesterday and I blended in well with the suits and 'styles' drinking outside the bars - at 10.30 in the morning! Different way of life for some, was just like match day at Newcastle but with frocks.
