tile against brickwork

hi, if you are tiling a conservatory with bare brick around three edges and old stone at the house end how and what do you seal the edges with where the tile meets the brickwork, is it the grout or a special sealer.

I would of thought a 2 or 3 mm gap with Silicon myself.
