Tile clearing house now stocking BAL

if some of you use tile clearing house then you be pleased to know they are now about to stock BAL products and they are getting rid of the excelbond which ok till recently also they have a credit account where you can pay for goods up to 30 days.

good prices aswell for the BAL products (so it says in there leaflet) i dont know when they are using the bal stock im hoping gaz will know

CTD are number 1 for BAL products and they will price match if not beat any genuine qoute...

the nearest CTD is warrington or denton which is not really local to preston i wish they had a local one.

try and put a word in dave at your local ctd and get one in preston my old tiling firm who i used to work for used ctd all the time

Tile clearing are stocking it soon i read one of there leaflets and i saw a tub of green star for £5.90 i think and £16 for the bal rapid set the rest i couldnt remember i be glad to see the back of excelbond gear at first it was alright the floor adhesive not a problem but i bought a tub of excelbond waterproof for £15 a tub talk about sloppy according to our local tch the whole pallet got sent straight back ever since then i havent touched the stuff i use topps fix now until tch stocks bal

Thats sounds ok. Been using excel bond wall adhesive for 3 years without any probs apart from sometimes the tubs seem to not be as full on some batches. I dont like the excel floor adhesive (rapid set). Prefer to use one by evo stick who do a flexi for concrete at £8 a bag and super flexi at £18. Really easy to work with. Never used bal rapid set, will give it a go when tch get some in!

bal rapid set and bal flexi is the dogs danglies but they are quite expensive green star and white star tubs are good but the bal super grip is awful and way too expensive

I know the chief buyer at Tile Clearance House (Dave Lally) but I didnt know they were seperate from Topps.

got to agree with the bal grip being garbage,your aswell paying the extra £1 and getting the white star from topps at about £17 a tub,there green star is aonly £5.60 also

the TW in Govan,Glasgow has now become a TOPPS,straight across the road from CTD.
