Tile cutter

I am looking at acquiring a new tile cutter, I currently have the Rubi TX 700 which is very good for large mostly floor tiles, I am looking at a smaller tile cutter to work in smaller areas, for ceramic tiles, small bathroom/showers and kitchen walls. I would opt for a Rubi, any one could advise of a Rubi model their would recommend?

Rubi TS 40 I have 2 of these cutters there ok for smaller tiles.

Is it worth to go for the TS40plus?

Yes it be worth it I've had my cutters for some time before the TS plus came out so have never used the plus I have a couple of the TR range ,but for smaller tiles say 150 or 100 mm I use a Superior cutter which is made in the USA dont think you can get them in the UK anymore used to get them from Undys of London great little cutters.

If you want a Rubi then try a TR400,
It's a far better breaking system than the TS range.

For smaller ceramics I still use a ts40, good little cutter....and I've had it for so long it staying with me.

I have a TS60 Plus which is a great tool for ceramics, I think you can get it in a smaller size TS50 (500mm) and maybe even a TS40 (400mm) if you only need it for smaller stuff, it has a stronger breaker than than standard TS range (750kg compared to 400kg), hope this helps!

i love rubi iv got a ts 60 plus but for smaller tiles id use a sgima 2G
maybe a rubi ts 40

only down side of sigma is NO CASE

Thanks for the replies, I will either stick to TS 40 plus or embrace the change and give it a go to sgima 2G as an introduction..
