Tile cutting Blade

Hi
Have you any tips on the best way of Sharpen a Diamond Tile cutting blade, I have been told to run a brick through the blade ,there are things on the market but is it money thrown away.

I carry bits of sandstone in the van for this.
Sandstone is meant to be great at exposing diamonds and works for me.
Keep your eyes peeled for a sandstone slab,lol.
