Hi guys,
Often I turn up at a job, I make notes, take down measurements. Often the customer is standing around. I have thought wouldn't it be handy to have a tick box specification sheet. With everything in an easy to fill out format and covering things like:
Any current tiles to come off - Yes No
Floor substrate =
Wall substrate =
Bathroom fittings =
Windows =
Tiles chosen and size =
Tile Border required =
M[SUP]2[/SUP] walls =
M[SUP]2[/SUP] floor =
Skirtings =
Door bar needed - Carpet to tile?
Is there Coving =
So you whip through and nothing is forgotten or left to chance later. I am currently working on a definitive list to cover every eventuality when checking out a new job, so feedback would be welcomed, I intend to then turn this into a document into a complete easy to use spec sheet, attached to a clipboard and you are off.
An area could be left for making rough sketches. These sheets could even be customised with your own logo etc. If you are interested in this at all drop me a line at [email protected]
Cheers Rob
