Tile giant/my builder.com

I'v just been on the tile giant website, and was surprised to find that they use my builder.com for customers to find a tiler, surely it would be better for tile giant and us traders that spend a lot of money in their shops if they had a list of the traders that they recommended, and it would also mean there is less chance of the customer ending up with a cowboy, as i have read a lot of bad things about this type of website. What do you guys think of this???

hi only seems to be attached to tile hq website which i think is the online shopping store as opposed to the main branches,im sure the main local branches use local tilers that have good reps
cant really see how an online store could reccomend anyone tbh

My first thought is there will a business link between the two - ie financial.
To recommend without any reward (apart from repeat business) may not satisfy the accountants.
One tile distributor will print your cards free, hand them out, and if you wish give the recipient a discount on its sales.

Mybuilder have a link on the Tile Giant website as they are part owned by Travis Perkins, who also own Tile Giant.

There are links from the Mybuilder website to Tile Giant for customers looking to buy tiles so the arrangement is reciprocal.

In store we do recommend local tilers who use that branch.
