As dave said if in doubt start a fresh as this may be the only way you can insure all is sound, afterall you don't know what the previous persons used for the installation, for all you know they could be stuck on with snot and toothpaste and thats the only thing thats holding your tiles on and relying on somebody elses work can com back and bite you on the backside. And also check to make sure that they haven't already been tiled over previously as weight could deffanitley be an issue.

Personally i would knock em off BUT CJ AGAIN doubt it is because he cant as you put it be arsed to knock em off mayb the customer doesnt want the mess or somthing else other reason:ninja:
