I always use decent addy, and still apply it to the wall first,if you set yourself up right you'll save a lot of time rather than buttering the tile one at a time."not if you use decent addy"gimme a break alan p.

By that I meant I put my addy on the wall not the tile then wall, I can hang a 600x300mm porc tile with no spacers easy as pie, so please, give me a break.

lol see this has kicked off straight away then :)

Brian, i use either method, if im doing kitchen splashbacks i tend to do the first course on the backs. I do it in bathrooms sometimes too to get a full line set around the room. I find it also shows if my settin gout is right rather than tiling each wall individually only to find i have dropped a total howler when i get to a slither at the door frame.

I have seen some really good tilers back buter each tile but cant help buy wonder how long it must take to finish the job. One of the Sean's from here does it and get a really good finish (either Seanpage or Seanfsy)

I wasn't talking about one tile,I was talking about a wall full of tile, and when the addy dries it moves the tile, ergo if you have numerous tiles your going to have movement, the spacers prevent the tile from moving, that's the only break you get from me

I wasn't talking of one tile either, I'm gonna bow out coz I am noy going to get exited about this, I have done, still do plenty of fixing ( full walls ) with no spacers and no slippage.

lol see this has kicked off straight away then :)

Nope, coz I ain't gonna go there, each to their own, if you don't try you'll never learn though ;)
