they will need treated with Hagesan cement and film remover, or another brand of heavy duty grout residue remover. a light bristled brush applied over tiles, while wet with cleaning solution, then cleaned again with fresh water. repeat until clean. dry with soft cloth/ towel. if that doesnt work, not much will!!

If they are basalt , would you still use that product. ?
