Just a little bit about myself and my family.
I am Paul Dawson, married to Olivia (who thinks she is the boss)! We have two gorgeous girls, Tia and Evie (who are the real bosses)!
I have spent the best part of ten years living and working in New Zealand, with the last 3 years there with Olivia. This is where our first daughter was born, Tia. There must have been something in the NZ water as Tia is growing up with a few kiwi traits, after only spending a few months there! Then, after returning to the UK, we had our second daughter, Evie.
While in NZ I raced moto-x semi-professionally, which I loved, (not so much the broken bones though)! I then took up golf( of all sports), which I thought would be a nice relaxing game after the racing; how wrong I was! It’s a game that you never win you just take part. That said I will probably be swinging the sticks until I’m an old man.
My professional career started as a plumber, 25 years ago, gaining a City & Guilds. It didn’t take long for me to realise that while plumbing was a good career it wasn’t as rewarding as tiling, which is why I took it upon myself to re-train as a tiler and I have never looked back since, which brings me to where I am today.
So there you go, a little introduction to myself.
