Tile trim around windows

Hi which way should tile trim be applied when tiling a window or is either way acceptable?

On the inside of the window reveals

So trim inserted to the inside of the reveal? Does the end without the lip that will be on the wall cover the cut edge of the tile enough?

You tile the flat face of the wall first around the window and then cut and mitre your trim on the inside,make sure you have the right trim depth for your tiles

Thank you does the trim, the edge without the lip cover the cut edge of the tile that goes up to the window with the trim this way around?

Mattt, there are different trims out there. Square edge, round edge, some with/without lips etc. Cut off a small piece of trim (lets say 5cm). Then cut yourself a piece of tile (you probably already have an off cut in the bin). Now put the trim on the edge of the tile and then put the tile & trim up to the window reveal. you have already tiled around your window then the tile trim can only go one way! Have a play and you will get there.
