tile trim

Is it ok not to use tile trim on vertical ends and only use it on the top where the tilling finishes?

It would look a bit odd IMO, you'd see the edge of the tile on the verticals and a trim on the horizontals, is there any particular reason you need to do this?

Well the main reason is that i am using thick mosaic border and it would be difficult to get that to fit in a trim.
it's a small area i need to tile and most of it is under kitchen units. And most of the sides will not be in obvious site and i can have a uncut end there.
Do you think i can get away with not using the trim on vertical ends.

of the mosaic? That is one option I am considering, but it seems a lot of hasle for where I am tiling. As there will be very few vertical ends. I'll try to put a picture up to give you more idea of what i mean.
