Tile Trimming

Hello, I have 9mm chrome tile trimming and cannot find any corner pieces and i really dont feel confident in doing a tri-miter.

Does anyone have any suggestions. I was going to go get some 10mm round chrome trimming but its about 2-3x the price.

Ahh right , pretty sure they don’t do preformed corners . Are you stuck with those trims as genesis do ones with corners.
Or switch to a flat edged trim. Much neater.

Obviously with covid i wanted to keep the costs down, Hence why im doing it myself. I have no plumbing or tiling experience yet i have fitted the bath and im half way through the tiles.

But to get a finish i can be happy with i guess im going to have to splash some more cash and get the Genesis trims.

Its all about the finish and corner pieces will give a better profile and no sharp edges. Good luck with your project and let us know how you get on.

Hey bud
You can bend the trim to avoid sharp edges. You basically measure the distance of your trim allowing a little extra for trimming to fit.
Cut a V in the back face of the trim piece including the lip up to the face of the trim, using metal cutters and a V file, then simply bend it and trim to fit.
Tried it on a couple of jobs now and it looks and works well.
