Tiler training school

Just finished my 4 week tiling course at the Tiler Training School. I was impressed with how much i learnt in the 4 week period. Especially the application appreciation lectures.

Ant and Drew were great and gave me loads of advice on getting work and pricing etc. I have just got all my tools and am looking to start my first job next week.
They even gave me a free bag of adhesive to get started.

I would recomend this course to anyone looking to start a tiling career.

Cheers lads.:hurray:

Re: Edinburgh tiler training school

Hi Jamie

The Edinburgh school is the closest one to me as well and I was just wondering if you felt confident going out on jobs after this? I was thinking about doing the 4 week course but if 2 weeks in intensive enough them I might look at that instead. Can I ask if you found it easy to find a tiler who would take you on or have you started your own business instead?

Thanks

hi there, yes i only done 2 weeks of the course but was planning on returning to do the further 2 weeks which involves doing an entire bathroom, however i have since completed my 1st paying job and gained a lot of confidence in doing so,also i have picked up so much info on this site its unreal which is great,im still going to return to edinburgh tiler training school to do a short course in mosaic and a short course in natural stone and slate soon,i wasnt looking to work for anyone just wanted to work for myself ,through advice tiler training edinburgh gave me on how to go about getting work ive since landed another 3 jobs so its going well. everyone different some people might need the full 4 weeks and some not but im going to go back for more training regardless,,hope this helps cheers
