It's open to all unregistered viewers as well - not sure how that can be classified as helping find a reputable tradesperson as the poster will not be able to reference any of those enquiring and yet believe they are on a reputable site!

Unregistered readers can read the threads. They can't PM the person posting the job asking for their contact details. And no contact details will remain in threads, we'll remove those.

It's then up to the person who posted the thread to checkout any tiler on here or anywhere else.

I've enabled replies to threads in that area now. So a good tiler can say "Okay you want to make sure your tiler is using this this and this" so they can be cautious of anybody not mentioning that.

Or perhaps a tiler who's interested can keep responding for more information and get some measurements etc, and the customer can see they're half decent just by that alone maybe. Then checkout their albums on here and previous posts or whatever to scout about a bit more.

I'll be posting a thread soon in there advising them on some ways to spot a good tiler from a bad one. But we'll never be able to provide references for them. They'll always need to seek those out themselves.
