Tiles as skirting board

A customer wants me to cut her tiles down to use as a skirting and have the rounded edge of the tile up over

What would you guys use to fix them?

I would imagine they'll need to be flush against the wall tile so do i fix at a slight angle to gain more grip?

Not really sure what you mean with "fix at an angle". Cut floor tiles down many times to use as skirting. Use either floor or wall adhesive as shouldnt be much weight in the cut down tile

Does this not leave you with a slight gap at the top of the skirting?

I assume you will be grouting skirting afterwards so if gap apparent, use grout to fill
