Tiles on new plaster

Hi,

can any one tell please me the best sealer that can be used on new plaster before hanging large tiles 600x300 in my kitchen. I have read that sbr bond will act as a sealer to make the plaster less porous and also give great adhesion.

I have also looked at buying "primer g", what product will be best? Please advise

Try to use the same products, primer and adhesive....

Is it a splash back or full height wall? Just thinking of the weight

Don't forget to follow dilution ratios. And hope tiles arnt heavy porcelain

Hi Dave, a couple of things to check weight of tile 600x300 porcelain can be over the limit for skim. Also how long has the plaster been aloud to cure? If all above is ok then I would use a cement based adhesive and sbr primer recomended by adhesive manufacturer.

I only use SBR,its my main primer,have used it for years and never had a problem.
