Tiling a bathroom floor

My partner is going to tile my bathroom floor but said we can't use the toilet etc for 12-24 hours as the tiles can not be walked on
Is this true when tiling a floor or is there anyway round it?

As above.. Use rapid set. Just make sure your partner only mixes up small amounts, as it goes off quickly, and it's easy to end up wasting half the bag. 😉

I'm probably late to the party but Rapid Set worked fine for us and we could (carefully) walk on it within a couple of hours, for a little bit.
