tiling a floor in a mobile home

hi there, have been asked to tile a floor in a mobile home, floor in the bathroom is 18mm chipboard, i wud normally rip this up and replace with 18mm but they are keeping the shower in as it has just been replaced , so was thinking overlaying 12mm ply and screwing every 3-4 inches, only thing i am worried about is movement from a mobile home? its a static one and stays in one place, has anyone else tiled a floor in a mobile home before,

Glue and screw cement boards as you would on any other chipboard substrate, then tile using SPF adhesive and a flexible grout.

As above but making sure substrate is free of deflection. I may even stretch to 2 part adhesive.

I used to live in a static, long story, the floors are normally deflection free due to their make up and size, add above re fixing.

one drawback I noticed when I was asked to quote for one, was that you have no provision for bracing joists with noggins as they're usually constructed with two galv joists running the length of the caravan. I refused to quote for the job as I couldn't guarantee a successful result.
