Tiling a window recess

What is the best way to secure tiles to the underside of a window recess while they set?

where did you get the short props from? All I can find are the long ones for plasterboarding ceilings.

I bought them years ago from ScrewFix, weren't that expensive either.

depends what tiles your using, if there not that heavy then I spread adhesive onto the under side of the reveal, then butter the tile and I find it holds them just fine, but like I said I would not trust this on a heavy tile....and you need to use a decent adhesive...

Andy these tiles are 7kg each.
I didn't want to take the risk as I wouldn't normally support them, I would usually let the suction hold them up.
I fixed these with AnhyFix,

Thats what I use .

You can cut down the longer props once it's all stripped down

I usally use lash clips, rapid set addy and a batten in the middle of the window

props and i always use a flexible rapid adhesive

Good props there Stef, but looking at your avatar you look a bit peaky, maybe a course of vitamin C might help? sorry to point it out, just thinking of your health mate.:lol:

I use self made props, or one mug I can pay £50 and rapid set adhesive and a pint teaser ha ha
