Tiling An Outside Wall

as the title says any advice on what I need to consider if I am going to tile an external wall.

Is the wall rendered, blockwork etc

Are they single skin walls as in 1 buck thick lol, height and length or are they connected to a building or independent walls.

Yes one buck think they are raised beds so only about 2 to 3 foot height by about 7 foot long

what type of tiles?

Not got them yet was thinking ones that look like jagged mini bucks if that makes sense or what ever is easiest

years ago we would soak tiles overnight and adhere to render with a 5/1 mix of sand and cement you could add a frost proof hardener to the mix to speed up the setting time and also to frost proof for winter time
