Tiling around window

Can anyone suggest how to tile around this window? I discussed it with client and he said a trim wasnt necessary, to take off a few tiles that werent full tiles and to complete the missing tiles. This was done quite a while ago and the client has decided to add more tiles to the existing ones.
I thought it was straigtforward. Then I realised that if I tiled flush with the window as is done at the moment then tiled up to that from the recess there would be an extra grout line runng up the side of the window- is this ok to do?
I hope you understand what I am getting at.

Do they want this because of the mould ?

You can only work with what is there at present really... but that paint will need to come off and stop that mould as well.

I not sure why client wanted it tiled. But I was just wondering whether it would be usual to tile the window recess at the top? If so would keraquick hold it or should I prop it up with wood? I.ve tiled walls and floors but never above as it were.

once the walls / window head is all prepped, Keraquick should be fine - just make sure you push the tiles in well. Prop it if you want if you dont feel confident with it, or if the tiles are heavy
