Hi All,
Just reached water tight on our new house and starting the insides. The first floor has our master bedroom with ensuite. The floor is constructed of 18mm Caberdeck glued and nailed onto Posi Joists. On top is laid the Nu-Heat wet underfloor heating system consisting of 25mm polystyrene panels with metal diffuser plates laid into pre formed grooves in the polystyrene. The underfloor heating pipes are then laid into the metal heat deflector plates. We're ready to install 18mm T&G flooring on top of that making the first floor a floating floor. However I'm now concerned about how I'm going to tile the ensuite! All advice says don't tile on a floating floor so how do I tile on top of the Nu-Heat installation on this floor?
Advice greatly appreciated.
