I'm currently tiling halfway up a wall but after stripping the walls etc and prepping i've discovered the walls are up to about 8mm out in places.

Now this normally wouldn't cause me a problem tiling to the ceiling with back buttering etc but has anyone got any ideas for when i come to fix the trim?

I know with the walls being this far out, the trim is gonna look horrendous - its a PVC trim with a mosaic kind of pattern

Customer does not want to pay for plastering the walls :furious3:

Much appreciated guys

I have had this problem before, tile as per the normal keeping them straight. The last row leave the adhesive shy from the top by the depth of the trim back ( the bit behind the tiles). Then fill with adhesive and slip the trim in flush with the tile face. Finally use Ardex feather finish to feather from the back edge to nothing....this stuff is sandable and paintable in 2 hrs....Gaz
