Hi chaps - long time no speak, been busy with other projects and not tiling much for past couple of months.

Anyway - moving swiftly on, I have a conservatory to tile. Small, about 6-7 square metres. Its been previously tiled. Client would like me to simply tile over the existing. Is that ok? So long as I check its soundly fixed, by tapping around the existing tiles - looking for hollows.

I'm tiling using 45x45 porcelain, probably using Weber SPF rapid (or thick bed). Both are fine for porcelain, movement, waterproof etc. Floor is concrete. Surround/edging/skirting etc. of the existing floor is timber, which has had some damp affect it, but nothing major. I figure that the porcelain with the adhesive will be fine - as it is exactly the same as I used on my outside patio - which is always wet this summer.

Any thoughts? Or does it all sound fine.

Grout will be charcoal - weber stuff.

As long as floor is sound and clean, i usually go over the existing tiles with sugar soap then just tile on top no probs. Weber sp rapid will be spot on:thumbsup:
