Tiling on anhydrite

Customer has karndean on ground floor of his house. All over floor are small blisters in karndean (like screwhead).
Floor has been sanded, primed ( dont know a products used) but selflevel is also debonding in places. It is going to be replaced with tiles.I think that issue is a moisture in anhydrite as they never made a test.
I was goin to lift karndean, remove selflevel, sand and prime again. But what about moisture? House build 1 year ago.
what are ur opinions on this? it is 80 sq m. porcelain going down now. thanks.

Definitely sounds like moisture or possibly primer penetration issue or combination of both with a cementitious self leveller.

As as you say, lift the karndean and the self level, sand and then test for moisture using a hygrometer (about £60 ish to buy)

then use use a gypsum compatible adhesive to stick the porcs down. E.g. Tile master Anhyfix, kerakoll h40 ideal, gypfix from nicobond etc etc...

I've never used gypfix but can highly recommend anhyfix, it's a top quality product.

I have used both and Anhyfix gets my vote....cheaper too.
