Hi All,
Just looking for a bit of advice. I am making a small wetroom/shower on the first floor of my house. I have ripped up the old floorboards in the area and fixed 3/4" ply directly to the joists and noggins at 80mm intervals. I have sealed this with a PVA bond and water mix. I have then glued thin shims to the ply to create a slight fall towards the central drain point. I have fitted Aquapanel to this and screwed it down. My question is, which type of adhesive should i use to fit tiles to the Aquapanel. I guess i still need some kind of flexibility since i can't guarantee that the floor will not move, but i also need complete waterprooing and good adhesion to the Aquapanel. Products like Unibond tile on wooden floors offers flexability, reasonable waterproofing, but i don't know if it will bond to Aquapanel. On the other hand, the unibond tile on concrete floors will probbably stick pretty well to the Aquapanel, but i guess there is a possibility of it cracking???
Thanks for your time,
Tim
