Tiling on underfloor heating

I'll be laying down some (wet) Polyplumb underfloor heating.

Its made by polyplumb and the pipes fit into mdf boards and can be put down on any floor. The manufacturers have said you can tile straight on top. Has anyone come across this overlay system and tiled on it and did you have any issues etc that may be worth knowing. What adhesive and grout should be used ?

Just use flexi gear.........Maybe even ditra depending on which substrate it is incorporated into.....I have tiled one installed into concrete and have one to do in an upstairs bathroom....shortly.....it is just like tiling onto any other heated substrate....the upstairs one i have got the builders putting 25mm ply down instead of chipboard and i am going to lay ditra and go straight onto that......
The concrete one i did approx 92mtrs in 3 rooms i just went onto the concrete base but installed expansion and perimeter joints just to make sure.....

Not sure if I made myself clear. I lay special mdf boards down on concrete. The boards have grooves cut into them for the pipe. The pipe is put into the grooves and then you are supposed to be able to tile straight onto them. The underfloor heating is not in the concrete itself but on top.

With it being over MDF i think you should phone poly-plumb and see what they say about the products for the overlay system because as far as I'm concerned it isn't suitable for tiling over with it being MDF...... i was referring to normal poly plumb installations in my first posts but have never come across this one....
let on know how you get on with this and what they say..
