Tiling onto Celcon bloks

Hi my name is Bryan I am a new member, can anyone advise me how to tile onto Celcon blocks, like what adhesive should I use.

Hi and welcome....there sort of similar to thermolites....personally I would'nt unless they were dry linned first.

Thank you for your reply, I am having trouble finding my way around this page.
The celcon tiles are laid on the floor, just 9 of them they were intended to be a base for a wood burning fire, the ceramic tiles are just cosmetic. It was suggested I used mortar but after quite some time the mortar was set but the tiles were still loose. I could dry line but it would be easier if I didn't have to

Is this an internal fire place or an external burner.....

when you lay tiles on mortar you need to soak the tiles in water.or you can butter the back of the tiles with adhesive then set them in the mortar
