Hi and welcome....there sort of similar to thermolites....personally I would'nt unless they were dry linned first.

Thank you for your reply, I am having trouble finding my way around this page.
The celcon tiles are laid on the floor, just 9 of them they were intended to be a base for a wood burning fire, the ceramic tiles are just cosmetic. It was suggested I used mortar but after quite some time the mortar was set but the tiles were still loose. I could dry line but it would be easier if I didn't have to
