Tiling onto Plastic coating??!!...

Hi All

Ive just been to look at a fairly big school kitchen approx 70m2 of wall tiling using 200x250 gloss white ceramic tiles. The only issue I have is the fact that the walls are made of 'stover type panelling' - clasb 4b??.. Its basically a thin metal with what seems to be a plastic coating on the outer. Its the first time Ive come across this, and was just wondering if any of you guys could shed any light on best adhesives (if any) for bonding onto this? Or would pre boarding be the only option?..

Whats behind the panels and how are they fixed?

i would be looking at removing them if poss..

If its thin metal it will move a hot kitchen so you can get things to stick to it but the tiles aren't flexible
