Tiling Over Tiles

Hi i am new on the Forum so hello to you all, i am working in a bathroom and some of the walls are tiled with some sort of marble tile, all walls are double skinned plasterboard on metal studs, any of you out there have any advice on tiling over these tiles and should i prime them first and if so with what, would appreciate your advice.

IMO no way would i tile over those.... megga weight issues.

Apart from the weight issues for the substrate and a lack of tiling experience what work are you looking to undertake?

Does any of the 'bathroom work' involve any wall preperations for the new tiles?
or is tile-on-tile the only option for this 'work'?
