I'd just heard about the pre xmas rush on tools being nicked out of vans by scumbags wanting a bit of easy cash for crimbo.

lock your tools out of sight boys. can't be too careful right now.

and try not to put any Chrimbo presents under your tree if you're gonna be leaving the house unattended for long periods of time. thieves seems to target properties where they can see lots of pressies under trees too. there won't be any pressies under my tree until Christmas Eve.

I'm having to work out the back of my van this week so putting all the tools back every time I go into the house isn't practical, I hate leaving tools out and having the van unlocked even if its on a drive, I'll probably regret it if something goes for a walk. I'm very security concious and always keep the expensive tools in the house if I'm not using it on the day.

We need to invent an automatic shot gun attached to door hinges somehow so when the gits open the doors they'll still be there in the morning for you to hand in to the police in carrier bags.

Nowt worse than having your way to earn a living nicked. I'd prefer 'em to take my car than tools (not that I have many now :lol

i keep all my valued tools locked away in the garage at night.............trouble is when i get to work the one tool i need is still in the blooming garage
