I have been using this forum which is great & gain good tips & information from all you well experienced pro guys.
But now i think its time to introduce myself.
I took a 2 week tiling course at tradeskills 4 u in April 07 really enjoy the course & kitted myself out with all the best tools on the market.
Ive done a handful of jobs since then only on word of mouth i have had no complaints & everyone has been very happy but i am still dreading that awkward customer.
I want to break into the tiling trade & go self employed full time, but my big problem is getting from driving lorries ( which i do full time now and have a great sense of financial security) to getting to become a successful tiler which i want to be.
I am gaining in confidence with each job that i do, (the last a 11 m/2 conservatory which i have posted on the floor tile gallery). My main aim is to move to Australia in the future so the Australian Forum is really helpful too.
Well that's me, thanks for all the tips in the past and if i can help anybody in the forum in the future i will
