Timeserved tilers

Hi im just wondering how long you guys/ gals consider to be timeserved the reason im asking is because im currently doing my nvq but when i look for job applications they mostly ask for timeserved

most companies see time served tiler after bout 3 years it hard to get a tiling job after you have finished college firms want tilers with site experience and be able to earn them money

iam i time served tiler with 4 years experienced in the trade now self employed i also used to go to college alot of the lads there werent good enough to work for a firm some were just useless and sum were slow

hello there that word time served to this day do not know what is actually means...............................? thought it meant how quicklky a job was finished then was told time served means some one who has served his time for a number of years in the trade god knows
