Well, last years plan was to get in with a showroom and start selling tiles as well as fitting, that's finally happening albeit 12 months down the line. Doing the displays over the next couple of weeks ready for launch in the new year. Having some porcelanosa displays and a nice selection of stone from PHG. Hope it works out. All the best to everyone.

John, I live in the quiet backwater of South Lakes, advertising via a media would be waste of money for me as I'm not really in competition with anybody.

Had my best year yet last year so hopefully 2013 will bring much the same. Keen to get the foot in the door with a tile/bathroom supplier and more builders/plumbers but as long as I can keep 3-4 weeks ahead of myself I'll be happy enough. Wouldn't mind taking a helper on a few days a week but will play it by ear.

Was reading the NHBC stats today and they reckon house completions are up around 12% this year and are anticipated to increase by a similar number next. Add that to the cash released for school and hospital building and I think things whilst still very very tough are likely to improve over the next year
