Hi all, new to the site. Brief intro, living in Dublin, Ireland. Always been big into DIY but felt tiling might have been too much a task. I decided to have a crack at it and enrolled in Able Skills in the UK and completed their tiling course. Done a few jobs around the house, apart from a fairly messy job cutting around the base of the toilet not bad a job. I intend to get a few side jobs to help pay the bills but will need advice as I progress and hopefully get a few jobs. Would really be grateful for any advice starting out. What professional tile cutters you would recommend, heard using an angle grinder is now part of a tilers basic tool kit now. Many thanks in advance for any advice given.

welcome mate i started up a few months ago after completing a course at able your real learning will start now, an anglegrinder is a must you can pick them up quite cheap rubi do one for under £50 as for the dry cutters i have a rubi ts40 plus for the smaller tiles and a tr700 for the larger ones, i am looking at getting a tx900 and a bigger wet saw in the future, godd luck with your new career 🙂
