Training in Stone Restoration and repair would take at least a fortnight minimum. Added to this having completed a training course the cost of the actual equipment is very high.

You should consider prior to entering into any training the level you want to achieve. There is a stark difference to cleaning grout residue off travertine compared to grinding lippage and repolishing granite for example.

My advice would be to consider your commitment first and then price up a basic restoration package because you will get no change out of £12K when you consider the purchase of a BASIC kit as follows:

Planetario Grinding Machine £5-7K
Commercial 90 Litre Wet Vac £700-1000
Mono Rotary Floor Polisher £400
Hand Polishing Machine £250
Hand Grinder £250
Grout Saw £275
Sealers £500
Mop Bucket & Mop £100
Floor Squeegee £20
Full sets of Diamonds for Granite, Marble & Travertine £4K
Stukko Repair Kits £250
Repair Wax & Iron £150
Floor Pads & Polish £300

And those are just off the top of my head
