Hi All,
Sorry for another couple of possibly\probably dumb questions...
I'm now to ceiling height and window height with the main tiles which have been applied with an 8mm notched trowel. I'm planning to fit the mosaic feature tomorrow using a 3mm notched trowel. The questions are as follows:
1, Would you start at the top or the bottom and do you use spacers? The mosaics I'm using are 303x303mm per tile.
2, Do you tape the mosaic to the main tiles whilst the addy goes off?
3, Do you grout or Silicon the transition between the two. My planning seems to have paid off so that the mosaics will sit flush with the main tiles and a very slightly wider grout gap due to the mosaics not been dead square but allowed for the widest part so my gap between the main tiles is 310mm (max 2mm over the 3mm everything else is done with) I ruled out using trims ages ago and it's too late now anyway
Cheers,
Jon.
